I have read all of these books, and I admit that I have fallen in love with them. I love how each book is about someone different. I admit that I really enjoyed reading about the ones that seems lost or hopeless, like Jacques. These seem to be my favorites!!!!

I used to enjoy the Dark series but after chasing it and reading every book until the series began to feel kind of repetitive but recently, I picked up her latest book and found that it seemed different from the rest and new. The story that started it all for me in the Dark series was Riordan's and Juliette's story in the anthology 'Hot Blooded'. I love her Leopard series and the first book I read was Connor and Isabeau's story! Loved it!

I haven't read the dark series in years. I probably still have the old ebooks on a disc somewhere. I think it is time to start over on them and buy the new ones. I didn't even realize that she had other series out. Some days I really need to come out of my shell.

I only read "The Dark Legend" and it was enough to never read her books again.

I am not a huge fan of Freehan's genre of books but I think her writing style is quite nice in the way that it involves the reader in the story.

I LOVE Christine Feehan! She is an amazing writer. I can't think of any of the books specifically right now but I love her take on the vampire myth; yay for the Carpathians! She definitely rates among my favorite romance authors.

I am getting ready for her new release Viper Game by rereading the first ten books in the Ghostwalker series. I am up to number 5 and can't wait till January 27th.

I love the Dark series! Honestly my favorite two characters from it are Ivory and Razvan from Dark Slayer. I have a definite thing for the underdog and the misunderstood.

The Drake series is my favorite series because it is less formulaic than the Carpathian one ends up being by the time you read about ten of them. Jacques, Ivory, and Nicholas de la Cruz are probably the most breakout of the formulaic style, but I get it because there are only so many ways you can go with an all-powerful implacable male hell bent on getting the only girl that can save your sanity and soul and prevent you from killing everybody. Still, taking it out as long as she has makes it feel formulaic because of the lead male characters. The Drakes are less so because they have more equal and in some cases superior footing with their mates to be, so there are more places to go with it.

Christine Feehan's Dark Series are amazing. In each book, a Carpathian find his/her other half of their soul and is of course followed by some twist or problem before they can have their happily every after. :) though some people may think each book is the same, but with different characters, they would be wrong. Each couple has their own story to tell and their own problems to work out. What I loved most about the series and that they all tie into each other eventually.

My favorite so far from the series would have to be Dark Wolf which centers on Dimitri and Skylar. In each book before this one came out, these two characters have met briefly and been discussed. Also, in the books before Dark Wolf, it was explained why time needed to pass before these two people came together.

I'm so hooked on these series that I still by the paperback edition!

I started reading Christine Feehan's Dark Series several years ago and was immediately hooked on them! Lately though, I'm wondering what's happened. Her last few books in the series just don't have that special spark like they used to, especially Dark Blood, Dark Wolf, and Dark Lycan. I so badly wanted to love these books as much as I loved Dark Prince, Dark Gold, Dark Melody etc...but in all honesty, I had a hard time even finishing these books. I even tried listening to them via Audible hoping that would help but found myself losing interest time and time again. I found myself wondering if Feehan might have had a ghost-writer because her signature "feel" just wasn't there....which led me to think, maybe they were rushed. I am and will always be a very big fan of her writing, it's enjoyable and I can usually just escape for a few hours and transport myself elsewhere in my mind but for me....the last good Dark Series book I read was Dark Storm. Lately there seems to be lacking much conflict between her two main characters. The women are just falling into line which is something I found really hard to believe with Branislava and Tatijana considering that even though they are Dragonseeker and would understand the Lifemate bond they have been encased in ice for centuries as hostages. These women are just going to meekly give over to these dominate men? Really? Perhaps that's where the magic is with the Dark series the non Carpathians paired with Carpathians conflicts.

I have read her other series as well and I'm finding the same thing blahness (yes, I know...just made that up) happening there as well. Waterbound was definitely not very good and I hate saying that about her stories because I know she is capable of so much more...she has shown that so many times over. However, her description of boat & water gear got to the point of tedium as well as the heroin's "issues" explained over and over and over ad nauseum. It felt like someone was trying to make the word-count. Ugh! I'm hating writing this too. I know no author can bat a thousand, each will have books some of us just don't like. I just can't help seeing a pattern here though. I want the old Christine Feehan back!

I really enjoyed the Dark series to begin with, but then each book became very predictable. I haven't read the last few that came out. I still LOVE the Leopard series- they always seam to have just the right amount of suspense, romance, and steamy sex scenes for my taste.
