Just me, myself and I.
My name is Michael, and I'm 18. I've been interesting in books since early childhood, and I read on my own since I learned the alphabet. I have ever been fond of legends (especially heroes-warriors) and myths, thereby right now I'm big fan of ”the magic and the sword literature”- the fantasy. But I'm not only limited to this kind.
Apart from books I'm interesting in history. The most in II WW, and for the most interested person in whole history I consider Napoleon Bonaparte. I also do martial arts, concretely- Muay Thai, Brasilian Ju-Jitsu, Karate, Box and MMA, and many techniques from others. I train pretty actively so I'm often injured. Besides I read Manga and watch anime. I watch anime since I was 15 years old. Untill now I've watched many anime, and my favourites are „Gintama” and „FullMetal Alchemist:Brotherhood”, and my favourte manga is „Great Teacher Onizuka”. If we're talking, about music I like rock'n'roll nad metal, basically most their kind.
I love languages, and I learn a several of them, including english, that is not my native language. So I'd like to ask you, if you find a grammar mistake (e.g. improper tense), inform me on PM.

Sure I don't mind.laci_baby wrote:Hi Michael, welcome to the forums!! So you mentioned the different languages you have learned, mind if i ask which ones, other than English?
So I can speak English, German, Japanese, Polish, French and Russian.
Unfortunately I can't speak fluently in every (only 3), and this is pretty difficult (but not impossible) to speak others whereas I speak English. But If you'd like to speak in one of them, I won't mind.

It depends. When I've started learning every language excepting Japanese (and naturally my mother tounge) my parents helped me. My next step was to buy some books (manuals and something simple to read) and then I learned with no help. When I finished manual, I often had opportunities to speak with some foreigners and I have many friends in other countries. I was also in a few countries, so I could practice my languages. Besides, I try to read and watch in English. As a matter of fact speaking is simpler then writing, because if you listen a lot, you memorize many words and phrases and you can talk fluently and properly. On the other hands if you write, you have to think about every phrase like "Can I write this like that?". But I hope this place will help me improve my English.Just Me wrote:wow! where did you learn to speak all these languages?
