What is the rarest thing you had seen?

I saw a cross dressing man wearing bright red jelly shoes!! For those of us that remember those awesome jelly shoes in the 80's... wonder where he got them...

You remind me of the man I saw wearing skin-tight jeggings and knee high boots. He was about 50 and balding. Not expected fashion from conservative Japan...

A dung beetle. Yup, that's their job. They pick up dung and roll it in a ball. They are an endangered species so you can't kill them. I when I think my job is crappy I think of the dung beetle.

I used to have some trade tokens that are kind of rare. They used them back in the old days in the old mining towns. When the miners got paid they would buy trade tokens for drinks, meals, favors from soiled doves, etc. When they spent all their money they could turn in the tokens. I had one good for a 5 cent beer from The Oxford, another for a screw and a bowl of beans from Uncle Sams. They were both saloons in the ghost town I used to live in. A friend had one from a Chinese house of pleasure. it said 25 cents lookee, 50 cents feelee, one dollar dooee.

I saw a guy climb up a tall coconut tree to get us some fresh green coconuts. It was really amazing how he climbed so easily up the tree, barefoot. I even tried to climb after him, but only got a few steps before I gave up. What they do to the young tree sapling is that they cut notches in its side so that when it grows up the cuts will act as 'steps' and handholds.

Then they proceeded to cut the top of the green cocunut and give it to us to drink. The inside was filled with fizzy tasting water. As the coconut matures this is supposed to build up along the inside to give us the coconut we know.

Oh. By the way, this was when I was on holiday in India.
