I find that knowledge and exploration can both be found within the lines of a good book and that no matter how foreign they seem, they can help enhance the reality one lives in. I feel like the only way someone would be readying too much is when it's become like a sort of addiction- like where you physically just can't stop. It starts getting in the way of common day things like grocery shopping or work or church perhaps and it develops into a habit where you find yourself losing things you lament having lost.
But, my God! When would that ever happen?
That is a very good point. Reading is definitely a good way to pass the time, and to escape from any troubles someone may be having. However, if it gets in the way of other responsibilities then it could become a problem. Obviously, important responsibilities should come first but reading is something to do during free time.

There is no such thing as too much reading, unless you are totally ignoring everything, and maybe not eating and stuff. For me it is just a great way to be a able to leave the trouble of the real world behind and not have to worry about it.
