I really like Beautiful Disaster. I loved the love story. I really thought it was a pretty unique story for a New Adult book. I read the story from Travis' view point, and I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite.

I didn't like the book, hence I didn't finish the series. I just hate the story of Travis and Abby. Their relationship is not healthy at all.

I really liked Beautiful Disaster, but I preferred Walking Disaster. There is just something about getting Travis' perspective that had me on the edge of my seat.

I loved them both - can't have one without the other! Seems like a lot of romance authors are re-writing stories with POV changes (certainly makes more $), but Walking Disaster is the best one I've read. I loved getting more of his character too - and that intro! OMG! I was teary-eyed and heart-broken for the Maddox family. I still have a crush on this character! Travis is my ultimate bad boy, alpha male, book boyfriend. :romance-cloud9:

I don't think I've found many authors that can very accurately and yet emotionally describe that highs and low of a toxic relationship!!
The main character is Abby, a freshman who falls in love with the arrogant, hotshot Travis. It's really enlightening to see how Travis drastically changes from arrogant and bullying to sensitive and caring for this one girl. The relationship would turn toxic and frightening as times as McGuire shows how having too much passion can scare away the Mrs. Right.

Although, I will admit that this book is unrealistically aggressive at times (Travis is starting fights in the cafeteria and no one..NO ONE has called security? Seriously? What kind of college is this?) But overall its an amazing book that should be recommended for those in an unhealthy relationship (it would definitely give some perspective)
