Excellent if somewhat predictable. Dyer is completely "ice" as the assassin until he meets his downfall and "falls for" a hit.
7/10

the release of the film
The film, about hit man Richard Kluklenski,is even darker than the interviews with him done on Bravo! If you watch this film trying to find some kernel of decency possessed by the subject of the film. you're wasting your time. You're
also wasting your time if you had someone in mind who you thought might give Kluklenski's depravity a run for its money and offered them up in hopes that they would last until at least the halfway mark.
I lost on both propositions(I thought surely Jerzy Kosinski was his philosophical equivalent. Not so). This film represents a new nadir and am considering returning to The League of Decency to make all future cinematic choices.

That scene was totally surprising. I thought for a moment I was watching a Quentin Tarantino film.JenntheObscure wrote:The Kingsmen. It totally surprised me. It was a fun 2 hour ride in which you had no idea what was going to happen. The scene in the church with Colin Firth was amazing (and a bit bloody).
