Thanks to ULTRA-LIBERAL Hollywood, it seems no matter the genre, explicit sex scenes have become the NORM.... :o

Gimmee a break!
That stuff gets kind of old. Remember The Postman Always Rings Twice with Jack Nicholson where he was sneezing in the heater on a kitchen table? That was kind of shocking then but its old hat nowdays. Hollywood has gone to the dogs.

Love, Rosie. It's predictable but very feel-good nonetheless.

I guess Im an old fuddy-duddy but I thnk they should go back to making movies like they did in the 40's and 50's that everyone can see without embarresment. Im no prude, I dont mind a little spice once in a while but not over and over again. But like you say, its about money.

Yup, it's about M oney ( SEX SELLS ) coupled w/a lack of " serious " talent to tell a good story, they resort to cheap tricks to keep the audience's interest...

The drug problem in Hollywood doesn't help either..

Pearl Harbor a three hour documentary about the events leading up to and the attack on Pearl Harbor and the aftermath. Very interesting. It had interviews with survivors American and Japanese and told of the screw-ups stuff like that. Top notch.

Beyond Borders, " formulaic " drawn out story re relief efforts made by volunteers in Ethiopa...

The only memorable moments were Clive Owen's extraordinary acting , only trumped by Angelina's resemblance to a DUCK, or a Guppy...

Those LIPS!...mama mia!....

Portraying herself as an " advocate " for kids, she smoked like a chimney through out the movie... :o

Funny. That reminds me of my late wife who was trying to quit smoking and not having much success and she would see these old movies where everyone smoked. It would drive her nuts. I reminded her all those actors are all dead from lung cancer, heart attacks and so on. Didnt help tho. She still couldnt give up the weed.

Act of War. Bleak. Technically very good...but dark. 4/10
