What a day

Post by Levi »

I was so busy I missed my lunch break and didn't get to break in my new kindle by starting to read The Message like I had planned. My day as follows:

I may complain sometimes after 13 years of the same, but I really do have a killer job. Fun and motorcycles all day. Today, even though I really didn't have time, I got to go for a 30+ mile test ride on a bike in beautiful weather and even went to a castle (sorry boss had to get a pic :) I ain't got it all that bad.

On a side note on the way home a bee got in my car and the son of a bee didn't show himself until I was hauling down the road. Needless to say, for those that know me, I fought valiantly by bobbing and weaving and ducking with no regard for my own life, trying to save the others this evil bee could hurt in the future. I'm glad I live in the beautiful country...I was all over the road ha ha

Thank you Gali. I would never have purchased one if not for the recommendations here. I will now only buy special books and others will go on the kindle only to be purchased hardback if I love them ha ha. I bought the kindle basic, just started reading The Message, and already thinking about upgrading. Darn
(As an aside, I was getting emails constantly when any post I was on was responded to and now nothing. That's ok, but I wanted to make sure there were no issues either)

You are more valiant than Me; I would have probably pulled to the side of the road and immediately proceeded to get out the car screaming in terror. So Kudos on sticking out the ride!

When you get your Kindle well broken in, let me know whether or recommend it or not. Right now I read from the Kindle app on my phone, and my Tablet, or will from my tablet whenever I find where I left it. I have a sneaking suspicion my mother is utilizing my forgetfulness and enjoying it.

Hahaha thanks Loni glad to know someone else fears those devils like I do. And I have now read a whole book on the Kindle, and as vehemently opposed to it as I was, I love it now. I will still collect all the classics and any books I love in hardcover, but I will use the Kindle for any other books that I read for fun to save money. Wholeheartedly recommend. Also recommend the book I read on it, our book of the month The Message? A great read.

I really do enjoy it JoJo it's so much fun, maybe it's just a new toy but I don't think so. I love it because I can click and look up words while reading or make notes on a passage and interact with Goodreads and many other cool features. How neat, it's everything I would like out of a book, except for being a book :)

Maybe the bee was after your new Kindle. Maybe he was a spelling bee. Yeah, that was bad. I should delete that.
