Way to go! That's really great! :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance:

I'd take you wall-climbing with me if you were here in Louisville!! My lovely stepsister accompanied me last Friday. Hopefully I can make it a weekly thing with her!

I slept awful last night, and I feel conked and depressed, so I don't think I'm going to make it to wall climbing today! Oh well!

Keep up the good intentions and try again another day. It's hard to exercise when you're tired from lack of sleep and feeling cruddy.

I forced another work out yesterday. I started putting stickers on the calendar for every day that I work out. Apparently, I will do anything for a sticker.

I think repeatedly lifting cookies or cake to one's mouth counts as a workout, right? They're reps, right???

It only counts if someone is sharing them with you.

PashaRu, you just have a bad attitude. :eusa-naughty: Here, eat some canned meat. :character-spamcan:

BlueMel, thanks for the encouragement. I don't know why, but I've never had much physical energy. I've been doing home repairs instead of exercising, though. But good for you!! I know how hard it is to keep doing it every day, because it's near impossible for me to work out for one day!!

I love your sticker technique! I've done that in the past as well!! And although I've been having a hard time getting myself to exercise, I have been embracing better eating habits!! That's half the battle, but an important part, I guess, so go me!! Meg and Mel rock the planet!!

You tell 'em Meg!

You're welcome for the encouragement. Thank you for creating this thread. I feel accountable and it is helping me keep it up.

Eating better is more than half the battle. It is 3/4 the battle. Changing eating habits is really hard. I am doing both at the same time and I am a bit crabby because of it. We do rock the planet. I just hope the planet can handle us.

HA HA HA...

Yeah, I often tell myself that I'm single because I'm too much woman for any normal man to handle. (Not in a physical, weight/size sense, but in a hotness sense, ya know?) Your last sentence reminded me of that!! HA HA!! That's the cognitive/behavioral approach to my being an old maid. :o

You're welcome! We can be triumphant and support each other while PashaRu eats his canned meat.

I'll have you both know I had fresh, homemade juice today. Made with cucumbers, pears, kale, and celery. And guess who made it? Me!!! Canned meat....there are some things even I won't eat. :puke-front:

I try to cook (and eat) healthy food and walk (almost) daily with my husband.

Same here, on both! My dad and I walk all the time. He likes to walk around four times a day :!: :!: and I join him as often as possible.

If I don't feel like cooking, I just throw a few Laura's Lean hamburger patties on the George Foreman.

That is awesome! I wish I could get my husband to take walks with me. We both have been working out in the house. He goes to the basement with a kettlebell and I go to the living room with my weighted hula hoop.

I am racking up the stickers! Got another one last night for hooping and 100 situps. Including a few yoga stretches. I was so sore, but beauty is pain or something right?
