What other hobbies do you have besides reading?

Well we all know how I feel about blue. I have always wanted a blue car, but when it comes time to buy a car there are no blue ones. My first car was a 1997 Rav 4. Ocean Mint Metallic was the color. Basically it was teal. Her name was Susan. She served me well. I had her for 11 years.

My other hobbies are knitting, watching movies, watching comedians, cross-stitch, questing for items, and cooking.

Yeah, really. I've got the same response as Russell. What's questing for items?? Sounds intriguing! (Susan sounds awesome. Carlene is also teal, which I've never loved, but I bought her back in 2003 for practical reasons. What Momma would really love would be a Punch Buggy, or a MiniCooper!!)

LOL @zeldas_lullaby and @rssllue! I always find myself looking for the perfect item. Sometimes I know what it is ahead of time. Other times it finds me. I go to random stores and quest for an item at it's least expensive price. I recently quested for a bookmark cross-stitch kit at a reasonable price. Found it after hunting in three stores. I also, love going to used book stores and second hand shops to find inexpensive books. I carry a list around with me of books and authors I am looking for.

That's awesome, Mel! My mom and I used to do something similar when I was a teenager: it was called "substance requests." You'd say, "Universe, I want to find such-and-such item," and you'd describe exactly what you wanted, and mention what price you're willing to pay for it. Then you send it out to the universe, more or less stop thinking about it, but keep an eye open.

Thank you! I don't really send any vibes out into the universe. I pretty much doggedly pursue what specific item I am questing for.

Very cool? It was as interesting as I had imagined! I do something similar when shopping, the main difference being I also carry my bow and sword with me in case another quester tries to get an item I am seeking out! Then, all bets are off.
