"Wicked Ride" is the first book in the Realm Enforcers series, which is a spin-off of the Dark Protectors series. I loved it. Lots of graphic everything - steamy love scenes, violence, happily ever after, true love. This series seems to delve specifically into the witches portion of the realm where Dark Protectors inclined toward the vampire portion of the same realm.

Kellach is a big (really big) bad Irish witch/Realm Enforcer. Lexi is a smaller, tough Seattle cop. They do NOT see eye to eye on how to properly police things when their jurisdictions intersect.

If you liked her Dark Protectors series, you'll also love this one. I suppose it could be read as a stand alone, but it will make much more sense if you read the other series first - at least the first few novels in that series.
