Barnabas is the inspector on the case. He meets this intriguing woman that has a lot of interesting questions and information about his case that he did not know.
It creates a relationship that is work related and at the same time something more.

This is a wonderfully written book. It is not your normal romance book, it has love, romance, murder, mystery, and so many aspects of real life relationships; communication issues, job interference, family and friends, etc.....it has you hooked and on the edge of your seat through the whole book.
