For those of you who enjoy a little romance, and mystery you might want to try Chaysing Dreams (Chaysing Trilogy Book 1) by Jalpa Williby. Chaysing Dreams is good read for all ages, However it is a wonderful find for the YA reader. They will be able to connect easily with Tess and the plot will keep them reading all night.
The main character, is Tess is well developed, smart, athletic, volunteers, has a great family, and a good life. You want to care and root for her. (Because of her age, 16, this just might be a book to hook a YA reader.)
Tess has always had the same nightmare, of a girl is running for her life with an unknown force chasing her. Each time, right before the girl is caught, Tess awakens, confused and shaking with a real fear.
With her best friends, Jack and Kylie, she moves through high school, and then is accepted into her dream college. It is in college her tale becomes intriguing, with the meeting of a mysterious trainer and mentor, Chris. Tess feels a strong connection with him. Chris feels just as strongly he wants nothing to do with her. The mystery grows as Chris continues to dismiss and disregard her, while showing he is protective and sensitive toward her.
The suspense continues as Tess tries to connect the pieces of her life, working her way through the twists and turns of betrayal, tragedy and sacrifice. Leaving her no choice but to face her worst nightmare.
