Beneath the Waters ~ A Wrinkle in Time

Post by laci_baby »

Once before you kissed me ~ Feeling nothing but the sin
Knowing how you'll use me ~ Over time again.
You made me an image ~ Of everything you want
You gave me the vision ~ Of everything Im not.
I tell you that i'm falling ~ But you pushed it all aside
And through everything im feeling ~ I feel like i've already died.
You made me hate myself ~ And for that i cant forgive
But i can't go on through this life ~ Without you as my friend.
And so you let me fall this fall ~ And let me fall this deep
I'll give you all of my all ~ But the memories i will keep.
And as i fall, i realize ~ I've fell into a dream
And in this dream im swimming ~ up this timeless stream.
I struggle to the surface ~ Searching for your hand
Remembering how i've done this~ Over time again.
Remembering how i hate myself ~ I drown beneath the surface
Staring up at my sins and myself ~ Wondering how i deserve this.
So i slip beneath the water ~ As you tried to grab my hand
I said "Goodbye my lover!" ~ But you didnt understand
And so i've let you go, you see? ~ And i'll do so 'til the end
But you wont let me let you go ~ Or even be your friend.
So i'll wade through this life ~ Without you by my side
And i'll wash my sins away ~ slowly throughout time.
But i'll return to you someday ~ Someday through your dreams
To let you know, somehow, ~ We were never meant to be.
And as we grow old ~ I'lll realize
To you im nothing ~ But a wrinkle in time.
And once again you'll kiss me ~ But the reasons not the same
For, you see, I'm leaving ~ A body thats no longer mine.
For im swimming with the angels ~ Against eternity
But remember, Love, I'll catch you ~ Although you didnt catch me.

See, she says she hasn't written anything in years, but we all know that's a lie... She's filled out checks, slips, forms, her name, etc...

Haha, but it was pretty great, it came across clear and it's full of emotion.

Of course Dee... Point out the wrongness of my words...haha
I meant nothing literature wise, Darling.
I have books and poems that i've written when i was younger.... but i havent done anything of the sort in years.
It's rather sad.

Oh you'll thank me... Once I stick it up your nose in your sleep and then an hour later you shoot up in your ninja style and start writing amazing works of literature on colorful little post its.

Then when you go back to sleep and wake up later in the morning you'll see the post its all written on by you and in the shape of the words "Dee is responsible for the awesomeness."

And then you'll get famous and buy my tons of Mt. Dew and Cheese.
Hee!

Wow. You've put a lot of thought into this.
Can it not go up my nose? Can't it just magically appear?

Haha, what can I say?

I'm amazing.

No, it must go up the nose!!! You won't even feel it in your sleep.
Sure it might seem like you have a runny nose for a few days, but it's just excess awesome that you can't utilize.
