Do you prefer books with long or short chapters ?

Personally i prefer many short chapters in a book. I think its easier to read a 500 page book with 50 chapters Than reading a 50 books with 10-15 chapters.

I lean towards shorter, but the story is the most important.

I don't mind either way, but I'm accustomed to the longer chapters.

I don't really have a preference. If the story is good, I won't even pay attention to the length of the chapters.

I enjoy feeling like I'm making progress in a book, but chapters that are one or two pages seem like a tease and too tedious.

It depends on the book, but mostly I prefer shorter chapters, not those ridiculously short ones though. I don't like long chapters, especially if it was a boring book.

I used to set goals for certain page amounts a day. It was usually around 50 pages. I liked it when a chapter ended on even pages. Now I don't really care. Long or short chapters don't even really register for me. I am more interested in enjoying what I read.

Either way is good for me too. If I need to stop and can't finish a chapter (because it's long), it used to bother me. Now, I can stop when I think it is a good stopping point, then I'm able to pick it up pretty quickly the next time around!
