Hello,

My name is Lora and I'm new here. I am an MLS graduate student, concentrating in archives and records management. I've always loved reading and this seems like a great place to meet some like-minded people.

G'day, Aspasia, you're a librarian then. Would you like to work in the Vatican? They have archives up the kazoo.

Not officially a librarian yet, but next year

And I would love to work in the Vatican archives. They have the best archives in the world with some really awesome stuff, but they also hardly let anyone in to see their stuff. I think they approved less than 1,000 research requests last year and you probably have to be Catholic to work there. It's almost worth picking up religion again...almost :P
