The last book I bought was "Growing in Christ:40 days to deeper faith" by Arnie Cole and Michael Ross. I loved this book! I like the breakdown of the scripture and the real world analysis of how we view these situations today. I recommend it to anyone looking to increase their faith and their walk with God. The bible can be a difficult book to read. If you are a beginner this book is the best one to start with to help you understand.

The last book I bought was a how-to book, How to Make Real Money Selling Books: A Complete Guide to the Book Publishers' World of Special Sales by Brian Jud, as I've been looking for new places to reach readers outside of the usual bookstore setting. I write travel guides, so I thought this might give me some fresh ideas.

But the last book I bought for FUN reading was San Diego Noir, since I've enjoyed some of the other anthologies in this series and wondered what kind of noir might come out of sunny San Diego. :)

I just bought As the Waltz Was Ending. It's actually a young adult book. I read it when I was a "young adult" and think of it often.

The last book I bought was Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters, for a re-read. I had already read more than half the series on my tablet, PDF versions. I wanted the book this time.

I read What Alice Forgot earlier this year. It was pretty good, but I thought the book was too long and dragged in a few places. I loved The Husband's Secret by the same author - it was very thought-provoking.

The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. I wanted to read this back in middle school, but for some reason never got to it.
