I also do not set New Year Resolutions. I plan to read more though, appreciate each day anew, and enjoy my family. :)

I will read your book today and will leave a review. :)

@katelacecarter Sure, I sent a PM. I would love to look at your work.

@arobey Those are some common dreams and struggles. I am so glad to hear you are achieving it. And slowly is the way to go.

@rssllue I didn't know there was a top-hat smilie! :shock:

@gali Read more? You already read so much :D Appreciation is easier said than done, so that and your others are all great goals. And thank you for getting the book. I hope you like it. :)

@rssllue Now, I see what you did there. I want to steal it. Can I steal it?

Also, I've now promised that if the book gets to #1, I will jump in cold water on New Years Day and video tape and put it online.

So.... share the link to the free book with your friends. Here is the Amazon link to the book

@gali ahh but to get that then the book has to get to #1! So get everyone to share the Amazon link to the book.

It's a mutually benefitical arrangement, I think. :lol: :tiphat:

Nice topic. :) My dream is to have a book published. This has been my dream ever since I was a little girl. Next year my first book will be published, so my dream is coming true. It will be a very modest publication though, so I still have publishing dreams; when I can finally afford it, I'd like to have a better publication of my book. (with the book being available as hard cover and e-book as well as professional people looking at the story so together we can turn it into something better)

My other dream is to have a paid job wich will last for many months instead of just a few weeks like I've had until now. Less and less people in the Netherlands nowadays find a steady job where they can work for a few years or even one year.

I've written about a hundred short stories during my time as a blogger. My dream is for other people to read them and learn from them. My goals this year are (1) to read and review lots of books and help new authors (one way or another), (2) to maintain a healthy body and mind and (3) to be the coolest mom I can be :D

First off, I would say that I have been lucky enough to have already started living my dream. I have a job I love that has a good schedule and pays me enough to live and pursue my other passions. But the dream is only beginning. In fact, I plan to keep dreaming and coming up with new things to reach for for the rest of my life.

My personal dreams currently involve writing (more for fun than anything else but who knows how it will turn out in the end :) ) and working more with sketching and digital art so I can bring my characters to life. I work towards these in the evenings when the mood takes me (which is more often then not). But there is no rush. I figure as long as I am moving forward, it doesn't much matter how fast I go.

Because I feel like I am always working towards something, I don't normally set New Years resolutions. I figure the new year will bring me its own surprises that I can work with as they come to me.
