The musicians voice is otherworldly. In the way that it is hauntingly beautiful. His lyrics are poetic explorations on themes of failed romances, mortality, isolation, depression, and melancholy. The themes are dark, but it is delivered incredibly beautifully.
This piece motivation me to learn more about the musician. I found from listening to more of his songs that most of his pieces, particularly from this album, are hauntingly beautiful. I also found by reading a short biography that Drake battled depression. He died of an overdose of anti-depressants. Many people have speculated it was suicide and say his lyrics often demonstrate his life experiences and lost.

He was magical. Not a lot of people know of him, but I think those that do are just a little luckier for it.
