Jan 3, 2016 SOTD ~ I See Fire by Ed Sheeran
My Favorite Lyric
If this is to end in fire, then we should all burn together
Album
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
My Comments
I am not a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. I don't dislike it; I just never got that into it. I'm sure I would have a much bigger appreciation for the series if I actually read the book, but alas I only watched the movies . However, I love this song. It follows the story, particularly in that film, but it also this double meaning and can easily--perhaps more easily--be appreciated without regard to the movie. In that way it reminds me of the song "Iris" from the City of Angels Soundtrack.

They're my go to for relaxing music. If I'm feeling run down or sick this is the type I'll normally gravitate toward.
I was also planning on nominating this song eventually, so I'm totally on board!
I hope the nominations thread picks up soon!

What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

Not a fan of LOTR? Don't break my heart, Scott. Read the books if you have to, you'll love them, I promise.Scott wrote: ↑04 Jan 2016, 09:17 "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran
