I can promote this forum by telling my bookworm friends to check this one out. It is a good place for people who read books nowadays instead of wasting their time playing online games.

Good thinking Zekes! If you have enough will power to share with your friends than by all means, good sir, do it! You have more will power than i, that's for sure.

I have like the most awesomest awesome idea on how to promote the forums! You know how when you go shopping there will be people with tags "My name is Blahblah i can help you ask me how!" haha... We can get buttons with the forums address on it... only we'll need some snappy slogan to reel them in.... and a "Ask Me How!" at the bottom. haha... Yays! See?! We can have them in all kind of colors and everyone that joins get's to touch Dee's mohawker! (They just have to pay for the plane ticket... of course.) See!? Amazingness, huh? :D
I know. I'm awesome. No need to tell me. I know your thinking "That girl is a genius!" And yes. Yes i am. Heehee!

Not a bad idea Laci, and you can start where you work in the store, wear a big button that says "Online Book Club Forums.....intrigued?" and watch the naive public get reeled in! Or try walking around town wearing it and explain to anyone asking what it is. Hey presto new members, although there are at least 4 times the members around than this time last year so lets keep that up.

Note to everyone, if you do want to spread the word about the forum to friends or family, click the "Tell a Friend" link under the Site Navigation book on the upper left hand side of the main page, people may have missed that on the way to the forums. :D

Decided to post this in this thread- is there anything you would do to change the forums, more/less topics? I would like honest feedback on the forum in order to make it a more improved and accessible place to discuss books and related topics so now is your chance to give feedback, what do you like/dislike, would like more of/less of, any other book related threads, agree or disagree with the actions of mods, what about promotion etc? Whatever you want to say let us know. Im sure Laci will agree that honest opinions from members is the only way to improve a forum.

:D

Oh dear Dum, but of course I'll loan my mohawk (as long as it stays attached to my head). And to think, I was going to cut it...

But I like the idea, you know I'll totally go out there and wear a giant bright green button with it on there.

Psh, just take a picture of my hair up, and put your little catchy slogan in my hair and just make me a silhouette so the hair is highlighted.
