I read a lot of fantasy, so when shopping in the store I look up books to make sure I don't end up buying book 4 in the series, and Goodreads pops up a lot. I started using the site to see reviews, but it seems like a lot of people are SUPER critical of books. I'd say it's decent enough, but I won't rely on it for reviews.

I absolutely love goodreads! I use it to keep track of books that I have read, what my friends are reading, look up reviews for mainstream books, and to know what order to read a series in. :)

I do not use the forums. I tried to join a group on there but I never really felt like participating. OBC is more of a home for me to share my thoughts and spend time with reading enthusiasts! :D

Sorry, I only use my account for tracking. My only desire is to read.

Goodreads has been a huge factor in my decision-making process when it comes to deciding what to read next. I trust the opinion of people like me and before I choose a book, I go there first.

I haven't really gotten into their forums. Like most of the other people, I use it to keep track of the books I want to read. I also use it a lot to get suggestions for my next book, they do a great job of compiling books you might like based on what you have read/want to read.

I use Good Reads from time to time and I like the format but I sometimes with that it was easier to search through book Genre's when I can't remember a book title. I am new to this site and am still learning the format. So I am not able to judge too much but so far I like this format as well.

I love Goodreads. I post all my reviews there, great friends' groups as well. And free Arcs daily. A very user-friendly site. So it's a YAY from me. I am new to Online Book Club. I like it. Great forums as well. Well done, Scott! I don't think people realize how time-consuming producing/designing a site like this or Goodreads is.

I have a Goodreads account, but I haven't used it much except to keep track of books I want to read. I just joined online book club, but I hope to start using the bookshelf feature soon.

I only use good reads for my books that I want to read. I started using the app last yr when it came out with the reading goal. Not interested at all in the forums on there, to be honest, it's a huge database of ppl and I find it very impersonal. I'm not a person that likes to be in the mix of billions of people.

I refer Goodreads when I am recommended a book and I need to go through review first. I find it reliable more or less. Besides its information on quotes and books also is quite helpful. I too do not use its forum.

I want Bookshelves to be undeniably better than Goodreads. Please do suggest to the moderators any ideas you have for new features or improvements.

I think Im gonna take a peek at Goodreads. This is the first book forum thing i have EVER joined.I like this so far but I dont like bookshelf. Its too much to navigate. I wish that when you saw a book on someones shelf there was a link to add it to your own. Also that it didnt force youto sort. Does Goodreads have these issues?
