I feel I have always been a reader! I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading something, even if it was for school, I always seemed to enjoy myself doing so!

I take after my mother and have always read. One of my favorites was Journey to the Center of the Earth that I read in Jr Hi and I still watch the movies over and over. Maybe I should read the book again.

I have loved reading since I have first learned how to read. I have owned a comic and sports card shop and now read and review books plus proof and edit them as well. Reading is a very enjoyable hobby.

Ever since I can remember, I've had a bookish brain. My father was a teacher too, and every year when they'd have Book Fair, I'd go over to the library, place my order, and my dad would stop by and pay for whatever I requested - no questions asked. I think I had a book glued to my hand from the womb!

Was I always a reader? When I was in high school, that was when I remember reading a lot, I remember middle school reading, but high school I got into Twilight, Nicolas Sparks books, and the R.L Stine books. I stopped reading for a while and now all I do is read, and I love every minute of it.

With a mom, an aunt, a grandad, an uncle and a cousin as hardcore bibliophiles in my family, it's hard to get away from books. I always loved stories. My dad used to tell me local folktales almost every night and I loved it. So naturally when I found a stash of comics at my cousin's place I was completely hooked and haven't stopped since.

But in my head I became a 'proper' reader only after accidentally picking up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which was around 7th grade.

I was not always a reader. In high school I didn't like to read because most of the stuff that I was told to read didn't hold my attention. Then in the 12th grade I took a class to fulfill my 12th grade reading requirement and it was reading for pleasure. I have loved it ever since! Thankfully I took that class!

Yes! Everyone that knows me, knows that books are a big part of my life. I'm the type of person that uses my down-time for reading and catching up on an old series. I can't remember a time when I never liked reading.

Only recently have I become an avid reader. Before I didn't really care for books. But at the beginning of high school I got an assigned reading list of sorts, and it made me fall back in love with reading. For a while I had forgotten what it was like to read a book just for fun.

I was a born reader! Since I was little I was the kid that had their nose in a book all the time. When I was in elementary school I loved going to the library and checking out 15-25 books at a time and reading them all within a month. I still do to this day. Reading was my way of escaping into another world. It gave me a way to cope during the difficult times and always put a smile on my face. Reading is my passion.
