Its Mike!

Post by StephenKingman »

Hi there, I have been away a while, life love and work and everything in between, great to see the forum so active and busy, I remember the days when the only activity was about 3 posts a day and most of that was Fran and I playing Word Association! Are any of the old heads still around- Fran, Ant, Bighuey, Dato etc etc sorry if I left you out. For anyone that cares, I'm still a huge Stephen King, Lucozade and travel fan! HAvent read as many books lately but I'm watching the adaptation of 11.22.63 and so far it rocks!

Hope everyone here is doing well. :D :D

Howdy there SKM. Long time no speak. I too had to take a very long hiatus from the forums for work. I have only recently come back and have received a Member of the Month award and I am now a book moderator. I really hope that you will stick around. I have had a blast jumping back into discussions of books with Fran and DATo and the most recent book we discussed over PM's was "The High Mountains of Portugal". Great to see your name again and, as I said, I hope you will stick around. :)

^ Gannon! Great to hear from you again, sorry I left you out there were just so many characters on this forum and I'm glad to see some of ye still knocking around, is Fran still about, I haven't seen her name yet? Its mad how you take a "little" while off and before you know it a few years have passed. Have you watched any of the 11.22.63 series based on the Stephen King novel? I'm 2 episodes in and its good fun I must say, very much like the book.

I must see whatever became of my pub....

Nice to see you StephenKingman! I read 11.22.63 and tried to watch the Hulu adaptation. I liked the book a lot better. I only saw the first two episodes.

Yes, Fran is still around. Bighuey and DATo are still regular contributors as well. I have not watched any of 11.22.63 yet, but have heard that it's good. I will have to have a look and let you know my thoughts.

It's great to hear from you, I hope you are well and decide to come back to the forum as a regular. :)

Gannon said that he hoped you would be back as a regular, and my statement was in response to that. It was not intended to make you the butt of the joke. Sorry if it was taken that way.
