Ricochet by Keri Lake

While Ricochet started off fast passed and emotional, after a while I found that the book slowed to a crawl and I found myself board. This book contains several descriptions that some might find triggering and the back stories for Nick and Aubree are intense (i.e. rape, murder, torture). I really wanted to like this book, but just could not get myself to really connect with either character and felt the traumatic experiences of both just kept pilling up. I would recommend this book for fans of dark contemporary romance.
