Reading on your smart phone

I thought I'd find it really annoying, but I actually love reading on my phone! As others have mentioned, it's handy to have my book with me all the time - especially as I'm a bit obsessive when I'm really into a book. It also makes it easier to read at night without waking up my husband.
I'd definitely recommend it for comfort and convenience

I prefer to read on my iPad or a paper copy, but I love the convenience of having books at my fingertips when the only device I have with me is my phone! Yes, the words are a little smaller but I can overlook that, knowing I'll always have access to my books. I have a larger phone so it's a little easier to read.

I bounce between regular books, my Galaxy Tab and my phone for reading. Sometimes it is simply more convenient to read on my phone though it isn't my preferred way.

Some times it may be little difficult to read on smartphone, But it's more better to use smart phones than laptops to read in some situations.

I've never tried to read a book on my phone. It took me a long time to even try a Kindle, I was very much a traditionalist about having to have a book in paper format. I love my Kindle, but I don't think that I would really like reading on my smart phone. Even when I am reading news articles, I sometimes like to switch from my phone to my laptop, so I can see it better.

I also have the Kindle App downloaded on my iPhone. If I'm waiting in line or in the park with the kids, I always have my book with me. I absolutely love reading on my phone. It's always available. I can change the size of the letters and the background color, so it's perfect for me.

I have both a Kindle and a Nook. Also a Kobo. I read a lot on my Kindle and a bit on the rest. But my phone is always in my shirt pocket and I probably do half my reading on it.

I have the Kindle app on the phone and that lets me sync my books with my Kindle but mostly I use the Moon+ Reader app for reading. It gives me a lot more control and let's scroll instead of turn pages, which I much prefer.

I finally broke down and downloaded the Kindle app on my phone, only because I don't want people to talk to me on my lunch break! It was weird when I started to read on it last night, I found that I had to keep adjusting the size of the font, and everything, so by the time that I got a comfortable reading view on the screen I could have read a chapter and a half.
But I guess it does have it's perks, like being able to read at night in bed, but other than that I would probably rather a book in my hand.

It's good if you are reading on the go but a kindle is better for your eyesight

I almost always use my phone to read. Between the different apps you can get, it's great. I do a lot of my reading from Wattpad, which is available on the computer and as app. It's a lot easier to read it on the app. I also do a lot of reading on iBooks and Kindle. Kind of similar, most of my writing is done on my phone as well, on the Prompts App. It's nice because I almost always have my phone so I can just pull it out and read or write.

I have been reading ebooks on my smart phones since last three years. though its easily available all the time and easy to read at night in bed, after reading ebooks on smartphone for so long this addiction has resulted in eyesight problem. Minor, still irritating. But having a copy of book in smartphone makes it available all the time and its worth it.

The first feature I look for in a smartphone is if it can handle my e-reading apps like Kindle, Kobo, Buqo, Moon Reader, etc. Reading on my smartphone is a blessing (although, like Vandana said, it can be addicting), especially when I have to wait in line. I don't mind waiting for anything or anyone if I've got my phone with my e-reading apps.

Using my phone to read allows me to read a book while I am nursing or holding my child and then also at night if I don't want to turn on a light. I do have a Nook but don't use it as often as I would like. Since I always have my phone with me it allows me to read wherever and whenever I want to without having to remember my other books that are not on my phone. Although, I always prefer to hold the actual book in my hand where I can flip the pages, smell the paper, and put the hard copy on my bookshelf to join the rest of my collection. Having it on my phone though just makes reading more accessible in certain situations.

I use Google play app. I also have the Kindle app. I use Google more often because it syncs between my devices, and I don't have to pay for that option. I love reading on my phone. It's lightweight and always available.
