Can a Nook support PDF files?

Post by nymeriastar »

Hello!

I am researching which ebook reader to purchase. I am not a huge fan of them, truth be told, but I suppose it is time to upgrade. My main concern is about if a Nook can support pdf files. I have a few books in a PDF format and if I can read them in a Nook, it'd be fantastic. Also, I want a simple nook- no apps, nothing fancy. I just want it to read and that is it; I get easily distracted by apps and notifications, which is my bane when it comes to reading ebooks. :techie-studyinggray:

I think Nook supports EPUB, but you can use the free caliber library to convert files.

My nook has no problem displaying the pdf files that I have transferred to it. 8)

My Nook supports PDF files easily. The reading experience isnt super clean, but it is easy to read them.

I used and saved PDF on my Nook. Even opened emails with PDF if traveling without laptop.

I have downloaded a few pdf files on my Nook and have had very minimal issues. Depending on the book, it may read a little funny but nothing to serious. Good luck with your transition to e-reader!

I wasn't aware that Nooks support pdf files. I guess no need for file conversion with calibre and the likes. Thanks.
