What books are you reading this month?

Post by Yannah »

This month (July) I plan to read these following books:

- The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
- The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer V.1(Maya Dyer) by Michelle Hodkin
-The Evolution of Maya Dyer V.2 (Maya Dyer) by Michelle Hodkin
- Scarlet V.2 (Lunar Chronicles) by Marissa Meyer
- Cress V.3 (Lunar Chronicles) by Marissa Meyer

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts about the books (no spoilers)? What are you going to read this month?

I'm reading 2 or more books concurrently. "The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo", by Amy Schumer. The 2nd book I'll mention here is "A Treasury of Great American Scandals", by Michael Farquhar. I am enjoying both of them a good bit.

I am always planning to read more than two books every month. Sometimes I succeed and other times I don't. I don't force myself to read as many books, rather I prefer the quality of books. Even if there is a single book that hooked me and tore me apart, I don't feel the urge to start the other without a break. I like to think and contemplate the characters, scenes, and dialogues I loved in that book. As for this month, I am currently reading Unlight by Chandra Shekhar and it is going great so far!

"Artwords" by Beatriz M. Robles is an engaging choice for a Book of the Month. It delves into the fusion of art and words, creating a unique and thought-provoking reading experience. Robles' exploration of the power of art and words is both inspiring and captivating, making it a fantastic pick for any reader interested in the creative process. 📖🎨📚
