This book revolves around Jake Hunter and Cassidy Moore. Jake Hunter is a former marine and now a cowboy who stays at his huge ranch in Montana, a quiet place compared to his mothers office in the busy streets of Boston. Cassidy Moore is Jake's mothers secretary and has also brought up her sibling's after her father left them.

The book starts with Cassidy arriving at Jake's Montana ranch to get the papers signed by Jake that are sent by his mother. A sizzling chemistry is apparent between them as soon as they meet. This turns into a passion both of them cannot ignore when they are trapped into the ranch house due to a snowstorm. Jake who has been divorced once does not want it to develop into anything more as he feels Cassidy is a city bred woman who finds it hard to survive on a comparatively quiet ranch like his ex-wife.

After fourteen months Cassidy has to again visit Jake, but this time she is carrying a surprise for him in the form of their baby. With Cassidy's opinion that Jake would not want the life that involve a family and her past experience with her father, its amazing to see how Jake manages to convince her otherwise..

The story unfolds in a very romantic way and keeps you glued to the book. Though i wish it would be a bit longer.. Enjoyed reading the book.

I love Maureen child's books but I have not seen this one yet. I am now going to have to find it because it sounds like a really good book
