General Question - By-Mail Book Borrowing

Post by QB1 »

Several years ago, a service was available that worked in the following way.

One could choose titles from a catalogue, and for a modest fee receive books on loan for two weeks with a prepaid envelop for returning the items. This was not a library service.

Are any online-based, non-eBook resources available that work in similar fashion?

Thanks.
