I believe that there is life on other planets, but I am not sure in what form. I don't think that there is a current effect on our planet. They may not even exist in our galaxy. The UFO museum in Roswell is entertaining, but I don't completely believe in those types of aliens that are presented there.

I think the vastness of the universe and all of the galaxies that it would be crazy to think that humans are the only living beings out here. Whether or not other beings reside on our planet without us knowing would be the question I'd like the answer to. I think like the book, it would be difficult to understand and there would be more negative than anything.

I definitely believe in aliens. The universe is so huge and there's so much we haven't seen or even know about. For all we know there could be another planet with people like us. I do believe we have probably had some visits from another life form, but as far as an effect on our plant, no. I don't think so at this time.

I do not believe in aliens because I have not seen the evidence for their existence. I believe that earth has the only living creatures in the entirety of the Universe.

I definitely believe that there are aliens out there. In my physics class in high school, we discussed how large the universe really is. The earth is such a small point on one of the arms of the Milky Way Galaxy, so in my opinion, we can't be the only life forms here. The universe is so big. However, due to how big it actually is, it would be really hard for aliens to come here and try to affect our planet.

Well, from the movie contact:

Ellie Arroway: [to a group of children] I'll tell you one thing about the universe, though. The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?

Me personally though? I'm just not sure.

In real life, I do not believe in aliens. But, I love reading about them in books, simply because each author comes up with their own projections of what they think aliens look like and behave..and it makes it so much more interesting!

I certainly believe in aliens, if only for the fact that there are billions of planets out there, and the odds that there are no other intelligent life forms out there is mathematically impossible (or nearly impossible). Would love to meet some, as long as they aren't assholes :D Don't probe me bro! ;P

I definitely think there's other life out there somewhere, but probably not as advanced as us humans. I heard somewhere that scientists consider us biological miracles in that we could have easily not evolved into what we are today.

There are several more planets aside from ours, and if we found a way to live then I guess there are also other life forms that found a way to live in those planets. So, yes. I think there are :)

I think anything is possible. There is a great big universe out there and it would be something if we are the only planet with life on it.

My thoughts are that, in a universe so massive, we can't be the only life. I believe there are aliens out there. There is no doubt in my mind.

It really doesn't make sense that we're the only things in the entire universe. I don't believe aliens have visited, but I know they're out there.

Do you believe there are other life forms/aliens out there in space or are we the only ones? Do you believe they have an effect on our planet in any way?
I love this question. I definitely feel like there has to be other life forms or aliens out in the universe. There is no way we are all alone and honestly if our planet has animals and humans how can other planets not have life on them? Now whether or not they effect our planet is something that I would love to figure out because I feel like the answer is probably no, but anything is possible. Maybe there really are aliens at Roswell and they offer their guidance and support. (Doubtful, but one can imagine this is the truth.) I guess we can only hope if aliens ever really do head our way they are not looking to destroy the planet and are instead a more peaceful group than even we are.
