What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

The reading of instructions then.

Only being able to read the want ads of a newspaper each day, or swimming with seals in shark-infested water?

I'll take the sharks, thank you 8)
But I'd take the sharks, anyway

Reading subtitles on everything you watch, or hearing it in a language you can't understand?

Hearing it in the language. Good challenge to learn new ones! ;)

Reading books on a smart watch exclusively, or listening to audiobooks read by someone with a bad lisp?

Reading on a smart watch exclusively. If I can adjust to reading on my phone, I can probably adjust to a watch (plus, it's probably a matter of time before someone makes one with a larger screen :p)

(Hope this hasn't been offered yet but)

Reading only badly written adaptions/book versions of TV shows/Movies, or having every moment of your life broadcasted as a reality show?

Reality show...bring it on!

Reading only foreign books, or having to drive the Oscar Mayer hot dog truck to work every day.

Reading only foreign books, for sure. I've got quite a few Japanese novels on my TBR, and I should be practicing my Chinese anyway.

Only having the Voynich manuscript as your only reading material, or only listening to (insert your least favourite music genre)?

Only the manuscript.

Only getting to read one book over and over for the rest of your life, or having to speak only Pig Latin for the same period of time?

Reading the same book over and over again.

Reading only on an e-reader and never being able to touch a real book again or never being able to leave your city?

Using the ereader.

Reading only car manuals, or having to listen to your coworkers sing songs from classic musicals everyday at breaktime?

Listening to the co-workers sing songs.

The walk.

Reading fine-print books with a magnifying glass exclusively, or always having a rotten smelling garbage in your home?
