@Bighuey @Fran

Many thanks Fran & Bighuey! They gave me a great send off and I received many emails from around the world from past coworkers and students. Forty two years is a long time and there are many memories but I try to look forward and not back. I plan on visiting American Civil War battlefields in the spring with an internet friend I've known for about 20 years but have never met in person. That, I am sure, will be the start of many post-career experiences which I have unfortunately never had time for in the past.

Once again, thanks for your nice comments.

Not much. I did laundry and made some bachelor slop for dinner. A mixture of hamburger, potatoes, mushrooms, some leftover chorizo, beans, onions and salsa verde and whatever else I could find. It wasnt too bad, at least I didnt have to give it to the dogs.
