I read this book as well. I really like your review because it sums it up to a tee. I was also upset with the ending. I'm waiting for the second book to come out to see what that will be like. Great job on the review!

The free sample of Escape by Belle Ami leads the reader into the minds and hearts of Layla and Cyrus as they follow different life paths that intersect in a romantically twisted roller coaster. Belle Ami depicts the professional and familial barriers the guide a persons love interests and how they overcome these barriers to fulfill their hearts' desires. I can't wait to read the rest of the novel.

Sounds like a fun fast paced book until the climax is over.

Wow, I love the whole espionage tale part, but the steamy romance nixes it for me. Thanks for the review!

I really enjoyed reading your review. Even though you didn't care for the ending, to me the rest of the book sounds like it makes up for it. I'm sort of in a book slump and this sounds like it could be action packed enough to help me out of it. I also noticed that it's book one in a series, so maybe that's a reason for the ending only being so-so.

Thanks for the review. I don't normally read romance of any kind, but the espionage element is intriguing! I do like it that the read is a fast one, full of twists and turns, that keep the reader interested.

I do like romance novel, but erotic is kind of...

I like the story, the plot. I have read your review and the story looks interesting. :)

Layla and Cyrus sound satisfying as characters! The espionage drew me in, but looks like I'll enjoy sampling this thriller. :D
