I was somewhat interested in reading this, as your review makes it sound pretty exciting, until I read "graphic sexual scenes." That's not for me. Thanks for the insightful review.

I would be very interested to see how the different cultural backgrounds of the two main characters affect their interaction. An American student and an Iranian spy would have a lot of differences to work through. (Also, is Cyrus spying on Iran or for Iran? I'll have to get to that sample...)

Sounds like a story taken right from the current headlines, well minus the sex scenes...I love a good thriller and this sounds like a good one! Thank you for your review!

Thanks for the great review. I also like the dedication of the book which quoted Winston Churchill. The quote is so prophetic. The story as reviewed about the escape of Cyrus and Layla is a typical espionage
saga purely physical satisfaction for both. It would be more interesting to know the thrill of the escape than the thrill of the romance between the two. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Thank you for the review. Romance and espionage are intetresting mix, although romance is not one of my favorite genres. It seems that thriller part is well done since you say that climax was excellent.

Great job on the review! Although this isn't my usual genre, I have to admit that it does sound interesting and sounds like it's more than your average erotica.

Thank you for the review! It's too bad about the ending though.

A love story in which the balance of power isn't exploited by one party or the other gets a thumbs up with me.

This book sounds like one I would definitely need to read. I love to read erotic romance and thrillers. Having both combined into one book sounds fascinating. I really enjoyed reading your review on this book, as it gave a different insight into it compared to the description I have read. I will soon be reading this book so that I can see what you mean. I hope to enjoy reading it, as I said I love reading both genres, so to see them combined is an exciting twist.

First thing I'd like to mention is when I see a book listed in the "Romance" category, I normally immediately run far far away. For reasons I will never know, I decided to check this one out. I'm so glad I did! It is MUCH more "Thriller" than "Romance" which is a genre I love. Definitely plan to get this one and soon.
