But the surprises keep coming as Kayla tells him he has a daughter.

Eric has a lot on his plate, a new community garden he trying to start, hostile vampires on the very border of the proposed garden, threats to both his pack, Kayla and his daughter, and a love that never faded from his heart. Come with Kayla and Eric as they face danger, a developing wolf pup daughter, and love.

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

The Shifter's Secret Baby is a short relaxing book perfect for a lazy afternoon. Ryder's plotting was smooth as she transitioned from one scene to another, and her characters well-developed. I could feel the attraction rolling off Kayla and Eric, as well as, his determination to safe guard his pack and family. Their daughter, Mikayla, is adorable. When she turned into a wolf pup, I wanted to rub her head and scratch her belly.

The pace of the story was fast and steady as Eric works to find neutral ground with the vampires, and keep Kayla and Mikayla by his side. The pages steam with the attraction between these two, as they never stopped loving each other. The Shifter's Secret Baby has love scenes, which I did not find erotic or explicit, rather love-making between two bonded mates expressing that love in the most fundamental way.

In conclusion, I found this book an entertaining read as I became involved with pack. The story-line is well-developed an easy to read. I look forward to reading Quinn and Donna"s as I am sure it be explosive. Due to love scenes, I recommend this book for young adults and adults.
