What scares you the most...

Post by Rtyhgn85 »

Hello,

I was just wondering, with all the horror books in the world based on so many fears and random scary stuff, what is it that scares us the most?

Is it clowns, little girls, spiders, being buried alive, dead people coming back to life, dying, never dying, seeing dead people, some dead guy with knives on his fingers, etc.
Or are they all the base fears that stem from when we were just living in caves?

As you can see, the choice is myriad.

Let's see what we can come up with, shall we?

The monster under the bed. The idea of an unseeable, unknowable entity that lurks in places you dare not look, waiting for a chance to spring. I still sometimes get scared about something under my bed, and I've had countless nightmares about this(actually, I just awoke from a nightmare, it's two thirty where I live, and am afraid to go back to sleep.)

Get up on that rollercoaster, you

:D

As for me, i fear the very concept of the Devil and also every single spider on the planet, i hate the things, always have and always will. Some people dont think twice about them but they turn my blood cold.

Mike I am so completely with you when it comes to spiders, they are little demons released from hell just and have no purpose other than to instill fear in the deepest hearts of men.

This may help others to understand what is so bad about spiders please look it may save your soul...

In movies and books the paranormal scares the crap out of me. The things that aren't seen but make themselves known.

I got a quarter way through that article, but i had to leave it as all the pics were freaking me out. I have always hated them, there are no real dangerous spiders here in Ireland but when i see them slithering on the wall, creeping across the floor, i just have to kill em straight way, none of this 'throw it away' business, they are dead. Its one of the reasons why Australia would freak me out, over there the common spider is a big huge furry monster that hides in cars, showers etc. I could not relax or be at ease knowing that many spiders were around me...

Know what you mean about the movies, too, its the impression your mind forms of what could be causing that noise which is usually scarier than the actual reality of the slathering creature behind the door.

For me the most scary are people.
Lolita. Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth.

I am very claustrophobic. Every time in a movie when someone is buried alive I lose it. I can't watch. Caves freak me out. I think its because when I was a little kid about three years old I managed to lock myself in our toilet. I stood up on the pan and could just reach the lock. However when I tried to reach it again to open it, I could not reach it. It seemed like I was in there forever until they got a screwdriver and opened it from the outside. Its ok now I can reach the lock. :)

I see, sorry to say, but this is why you will die from a spider. They've tricked you in to believing that some of them aren't dangerous. These are the most dangerous ones.

You'll walk in a room, look down and figure "Oh it's one of those non dangerous spiders I think I'll kill it.". Then as your foot comes down the spider it will reach up, grab your toe, flip you on to your back and have it's killing leg at your throat. There is nothing you can do, nothing but die. I'll mourn your passing. :|
