Mail Order Brides Anthology: Leah and Tess Novellas 1-2 (Mon

I just finished reading these 2 books. I also tried to post on other discussions on similar subjects, but could not really fit. I so enjoyed these 2 books. They are of a Christian genre which I cannot find a proper genre for on this site; that being said I would still like to post a review for these 2 stories. The first story begins with a young schoolteacher in Albany New York who has had to move in with her brother & his wife. Said brother is also taking care of an aging father who appears to have senile dementia. The setting is 1800's and I chose these books because it's about Montana. Being a Montana girl, I am rather drawn to stories about my state. Leah does not want to end up a spinster aunt/schoolteacher and answers an ad from a matrimonial newspaper. While the story is fairly short, it is most engaging. There are no sordid sex scenes and no foul language which I greatly appreciate.
The 2nd story is about Tess, an excellent seamstress who also doesn't want to end up a spinster aunt working and slaving to take care of her parents. The oldest of 3 girls, she is the most shy who is almost victimized by her youngest sister, her parents & her employer. Tess also answers an ad from the same matrimonial newspaper and the story progresses. Yes it's predictable but it is about romance and it is fresh and clean & I enjoyed both stories very much.
