I regularly read children books. I recently read 'The Sparrow Princess' by Russel Whitehead. Besides enjoying them myself, I also read them to tell bedside story to my kid.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

I do still read children's books. Sometimes it is to read to my grandchildren, other times it is just because I loved the books so much.

Sometimes when I've just finished a book and I don't feel like picking out a new book right that minute then I'll pick up a children's book to pass the time.

I read more children's books than from any other genre, due to having a four-year old! I don't normally choose them for myself, but I do choose to read YA fiction quite a bit. I enjoy the creativity that goes into the plots.

I run a preschool and regularly read to the kiddies. I love trying to bring the story to life for them.

I read children's books sometimes, but I read YA books more than children's. I read them not because I'm interested, but I read them to see if I can use them in my classroom or I read them with my students.

Yes!! I like reading YA books, and even read children's books once in a while. When it comes to children's book, I usually stick to my childhood favorites as its nice to rewind old memories occasionally.

e-tasana-williams wrote:Yes! I love children's books and YA literature alike. For a long time, whenever my children were assigned books for school I would read them too. I don't always have time for that now, but I really enjoy them...many children's books are very good quality, and the illustrations are usually engaging, too.
As of now children i still love poets, story books and so on and i enjoy the way i feel while reading it.

At times, i read books of children's genre.I see to it the book has more moral values to be imparted to my children. I read ones that are familiar to me ,like, during my school days when my teacher tackled to us the story. It is worth rereading to me. Reading the kind of book, relive my childhood days and itis fun!

Yes I do! It's really interesting to go back and re-read some of my old favorites and see if they still hold up. Ella Enchanted is still as charming and wonderful as ever. But A Ring of Endless Light gets more and more problematic every time I read it. The Harry Potter Series holds up really well, but I don't know if that is more my nostalgia or if its due to the series' actual quality. What are some of y'all's favorite children books?

I occasionally amuse myself by reading a Choose Your Own Adventure book and trying to get myself killed in it. I also enjoy Walter the Farting Dog books. I had to leave the library last time I read one because I was laughing so hard and making too much racket.

I don't really pick up new children's books, but there are a few from my childhood that I enjoy rereading from time to time, such as Anne of Green Gables.

:techie-studyingbrown: Yes I do! I love children books because as I read this books I feel like I'm going back in to my childhood days where I also imagine myself in the book. They say that fairytales are just for kids and I say that I don't agree with that. Children books are not just about being a princess, meeting a prince, living in a castle and wearing fancy dress, and happy ending but it is about HOPE. A little hope that despite of all the things you've been through during tough times you will also have your own happy ending. That is what children books taught me. We all have our own happy ending.
