My comfort place would definitely be my home, because that is where my family is and no matter how hard life gets, they can always make me feel better.

Mine would probably be my recliner in my living room.

The most comforting place for me to be is definitely in my home, with a book in one hand and a cup of coffee or tea in the other. Outside of my personal space, my local public library or my favorite used bookstore are comforting places to be.

My home definitely, but in particular my bedroom. Its good to close out the world and just be by myself for a while. I definitely enjoy my own company and being in my own space.

This is a good point because I definitely feel more comfortable and more myself when my husband is around in any gathering. He doesn't have to physically be next to me the entire time, but just knowing he is nearby, if I ever needed him, is always a comfort to me.

My new place of comfort is going to be my new classroom. I'm so excited and so ready!

On the road. I'm a van lifer and anywhere on the road, out to new places and new adventures, I can't get enough comfort from that.

I consider my room as my place of comfort. I will lock my door, read my book, and sleep after tiring my eyes.

It's funny how many people have a room of sorts in their homes as their place of comfort. For me, it has to do a lot with the physical comfort (pillows and soft blankets), as well as, a bit spacious. I've also realized that if the room is cleaned up, I feel more comfortable than if it's cluttered.

So, I guess, my next question is - how picked up/cleaned up does the room have to be in order for you to feel comfortable? Does this even matter?

For me, while I prefer an organized space, it's doesn't matter as much. In my personal library, it's more about being surrounded by books that brings me comfort. In my bedroom, I'm comforted in the fact that I have a piece of the world that is all mine.

I love that! A comfort place can be with someone you care about too!

I also consider the small mountain near from home as one of my places of comfort. Where I can hear the singing of the birds and I can still smell the fragrance of the wild flowers.

As cheesy as this sounds, there is no place I find more comforting than the home where I grew up. Ther'es something about all the memories, and my mother's presence that can make the worst day better.
