I have so many that it is hard to choose a favorite! Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings... I could go on and on like this! :)

My favorite science fiction series are Star War and The Lord of the Rings. My favorite fantasy series are Harry Potter and any of the Disney movies.

Tough question! At the moment, it's The Iron Druid Chronicles for urban fantasy, The Pliocene Exile and Galactic Milieu series by Julian May for sci-fi and The Kingkiller Trilogy by Patrick Rothfuss for fantasy.

I have a lot of favorites so it is difficult to pick only a few. One of my favorite fantasy is Alvin Maker series by Orson Scott Card. I am reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Then there is the Lord of the Ring series, Narnia and of course one cannot forget Alice in Wonderland. For movies: Star Wars series, Hunger Games and Harry Potter...to name a few.

That is hard to say, since I like several, but LOTR trilogy would probably be my favorite. There is some awesome world-building in those books that totally sweeps me away every time, and the characters are deep and well fleshed-out. I liked the books as much as I liked the movies.

I honestly, don't have a favorite. There are a lot of series I love to read, some that I will go back to read periodically, and others that will be forgotten. Harry Potter like many others is an amazing series, one that I have read a few times. However, there are too many other books that can be just as amazing. The Chronicles of Nick, The Heroes of Olympus, the Order of the Sanguines just to name a few.

My favourite fantasy series is Harry Potter. I think no work can ever compare with that. It is an emotion for my generation.

Its gotta be Harry Potter I think. I actually dont like sci fi and not crazy for fantasy, esp high fantasy. But HP will always have a magical charm over me.

There are just so many great ones. I wish I had more that were books, but I just don't read sci-fi series. They always wind up being more fantasy than sci-fi. Like Simon R. Green's Nightside series.
