This book sounds like a work in progress, but with a good story line that intrigues me. I can relate to the feelings of uncertainty when there are quick shifts in the story. It is a problem when you cannot connect with the author, but I believe that this could have been solved with another editing of the book.

I personally find it difficult to like a book if I could not connect to any of the characters. It somehow signifies that I cannot grasp what the author is trying to convey to the readers. I agree that a second round of editing may help improve the book. Thank you for your comment, Katherine!

Jeannie sounds so strong and relate-able. Being attracted to someone yet also being cautious about it, kinda reminds me of "The Age of Adeline". I'm really interested. Thank you for your book review.
