Great review! This sounds like a truly unique book from a talented author. Obviously it wants good editing, but it must be a captivating read if you still enjoyed the story in spite of the errors. Congrats to the author for BOTD!

How does one even write a mystery with multiple POVs? Felix Alexander must have really did a good job in writing the novel. Helpful review.

Many thanks to the reviewer. With the way the reviewer praised the author, he seemed to have done well in this novel. Excited to read this historical fiction with a dash of romance and adventure.

Seems like a good book to read, but I'm sure the editing would get under my skin while reading. It's awesome you finished through it and got a nice review out through it! I might give it a try anyway just based off the beauty and poetic sense found in this review about the book. Great job!

From the prologue, i thought the book will be boring and not an easy read. But as i read the first chapter, i got captivated by the mistery and love story

I'm not sure I could get past the technical editing errors but the plot sounds intriguing, especially the setting. I've always found that multiple POVs are tricky to handle, so it's no surprise that there's a lack of connection resulting from it. Still, I'll consider giving this book a try.

I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, but the mystery sounds great!
