Nice write up... Some quotes captivated me "Physical live requires the feeling of a caress, but true love is felt in the heart from a distance. That is when it remains pure". Also the quote " How many kisses steal our breath, or how many times our heart break, we will never forget out love at first sight". The only thing worth dying for is love. Interesting write up.

The Last Valentine is quite captivating, however, the review is silent on some salient areas of interest. For example, to what extent does the work "take murder and politics in a new dimension". How does "the truth finally unveiled" concerning Oliva and Isaac adventure. These are legitimate curiosities that would have provoked an in depth dissections of the review and by extension, the book.

To be honest that book doesn't strike me as something I would enjoy. I've read the sample and I agree with the review that it could use more editing. However, people who like the romantic genre may find it more enjoyable than I did.

The story seems interesting, but I'm not sure if I would enjoy it due to the said errors. Anyway, thanks for the honest review.

Wah!!! I like it the way the author has poetically written this book and therefore it can guide those who has known love, the begginers to love and those who are suffering in love.

Amazing review Toria - half way through your assessment of the book and i was already quite impressed by the depth that you expressed about it. I do have some pointers though i should warn I haven't read the book so take them, the pointers, with a grain of salt.

*The "fragmented/incomplete sentences" you're talking about I believe were part of the author's depiction of what the thought processes of whatever character's point of view he was portraying. The characters may have been intoxicated, had a migraine so felt light headed at that moment or could be in an emotional state that makes it difficult to form coherent thoughts let alone speech.
*And also the glass thing; isn't it possible that a person might hold or is offered a glass of any drink and holds it or might not even notice it for a while before drinking it. I would like to know why this scene stood out to you so much that you felt you needed to include it in your review then again I haven't read the book so it's likely some inconsistencies are present that I am unaware of.

Overall great review Toria. This book is definitely on my want to read shelf thanks to you.
