The author has put together themes(war, murder and love) well which i usually hard to combine them

*The "fragmented/incomplete sentences" you're talking about I believe were part of the author's depiction of what the thought processes of whatever character's point of view he was portraying. The characters may have been intoxicated, had a migraine so felt light headed at that moment or could be in an emotional state that makes it difficult to form coherent thoughts let alone speech.
*And also the glass thing; isn't it possible that a person might hold or is offered a glass of any drink and holds it or might not even notice it for a while before drinking it. I would like to know why this scene stood out to you so much that you felt you needed to include it in your review then again I haven't read the book so it's likely some inconsistencies are present that I am unaware of.
Overall great review Toria. This book is definitely on my want to read shelf thanks to you.
