Great review. I'm not big on YA, so I'll probably pass. Good to know the ending surprised you and kept you entertained.

This is not my preferred genre, and I do not think this is the book for me, but I want to say that your review was excellent! After I went to Amazon to read the plot description, I still felt like I had no clue what this book was about. Hello? They need to replace it with your review! :-) I also like how you mentioned this book would be good for readers over the age of 16...so good to know! I'm a high school teacher and I don't always have time to read every SINGLE book that I post on our classroom Book Recommendation Board. Often, I rely on the reviews of reliable sources before I post a book that I think my students might enjoy. I consider you a reliable source, so thank you very much! :-)

Romance isn't particularly my genre but sounds interesting. Great review, loved your synopsis.

Nice review! This doesn't really sound like my kind of book, but I like that the author constructed such an elaborate fantasy world.

I wish the author could find another way of writing this.

This is awesome. Fantasy, romance. Travis and his friends,Bekka, Vallas, Randar. The characters are intriguing. A chance to delve into the book's Orian world. Everyone has to read it. Am amazed and i can't wait to read the full book.

Thanks for the great review! This sounds like a good story for young people who like fantasy. It's interesting to hear that the female character has Marfan syndrome. I think there are a lot of people with disabilities that could relate to her character.

I won't say much really.... But someone should have told me what I was loosing out by not having an interest in fantasy creatives. I would help you rather case you're just like "me before" then see what you'll "thank me later" for just recommending... But before that lest I forget thanks Karen Glista for the wild exposure to fantasy creativity, but next time reduce my stress of grammatical errors. Thanks again

'Embellished' by Karen Glista is a wonderful, well written fantasy, full of adventures and romance. You'll certainly love the well developed and diverse characters, as well as the plot twists. Although satisfied, I wish there were more action in the story. Romance, fantasy and adventure fans will find 'Embellished' their preferable book.
