That's one of the reasons I started reading. I was able to "get away" for a short while and visit places I could only dream of actually going to.

I love reading about places I have never been! It actually is what draws me toward the book! I love to travel and love to explore new places. In fact when people ask, "Where is your favorite place to go on vaction?" I always say my favorite place is somewhere I've never been or someplace new to me. It doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed places I have already been, but it's more exciting to me to see as much of our world as I possibly can, and that means new places every time I vacation or travel. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of picking up and travelling the world, so I must rely on books to help me out! :-)

Yes! I love to learn about places and cultures I've never experienced directly, and reading about them in a fiction novel makes me feel like I am a part of them.

Reading this gives you new ideas and maybe some motivation to renew your life expectations refresh you soul. Many of us do not mind to find a new place to settle or just to have a visit. But first you should love your place where you are now. We all live under the one blue sky, sun and moon.

I do like reading books about places I've never been to. Reading a book gives me the pleasure of travelling around the world while sitting on my couch that watching travelling shows cannot provide. Sometimes, I actually imagine how the place would feel and smell like especially when it is excellently described by the writer. Writers have the ability to clearly and honestly describe what to expect about the locales in a certain area.

I like reading books about places I've never been but I really appreciate an author who can write so descriptively that it automatically transports the reader to the place in question. The ability to do this is a talent I greatly respect!

Yes! I'm a huge traveler and I love, love, love reading about different places. I love the nostalgia about reading about a place that I've already been to, as well as the "ooh that sounds neat" excitement about something new.

Reading about places I have never been to gives me a feeling of freedom. Its like I already know the place even if I have never been there physically. It creates a kind of confidence that can only come from power obtained through knowledge.

Reading a book of a place you have never to allows your mind to wander and stretches your imagination. When the minds power of imagination is set free,it creates a world in the readers mind that's far more intriguing than the author intended.

Oh yeah, this way I can live vicariously through the eyes of the people who have actually been there, through the author's descriptions of those places and the characters' adventures there.
