I guess I'd pick those two...their works aged better than other children's author's I liked
For the third, it's probably someone between Robert Arthur, Dav Pilkey, Ishio Yakagata or Yoshihiro Togashi. Each of them has just one series I enjoyed but I enjoyed quite a bit. I guess I'd probably eliminate Dav Pilkey because I think his works felt repetitive over time, a bit, and a bit overlong.
Overall, For English writers only, I'd say Robert Arthur, JK Rowling and Andrew Clements with Andrew Clements at the front.
If other languages are included, Yamagata and Togashi may bump off the other two, not sure.
