I was thinking the same thing. Without family (and friends), luxuries are meaningless. I certainly enjoy the luxuries I have in life but they would never take precedence over people.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I don't think luxury and family do work together thus you have to choose one to go with since family has ups and down it cannot go with luxury

I must say this is a queation with an obvious answer. Of course it is the family. Why would anyone choose to live a luxurious life without his/her family. It's ridiculous. We came into this world through this family so what self-centeredness would make one to choose luxury over his family. However, it could really be a blessing to enjoy both.

Family is biggest luxury in this world. If family is by your side then every problem and struggle becomes easy to bear.

Family comes first, always and forever . Luxurious life without family is nothing. It's more like a body without soul. Sooner or later you'll regret your decision. And if you have your family with you , it's like a heaven on earth, money won't matter

If I had to choose between my family and luxury, I would definitely choose my family. A luxurious life is nothing compared to a good time that we spend with our family.

Well, family holds importance. But one can not deny the importance of money to have a good life .it also helps your family to pass respectable life. But still values have more importance in family life instead of luxury.
Make your ideals high enough to inspire you and low enough to encourage you.

That depends for me. If I could work 15 hours a day every day for like 2 years and retire with millions of dollars I'd gladly do it. It would suck and I'd have no time with anyone but for such an amazing investment it'd be worth it.

However, far more realistically, I can definitely say I'd rather have time with my fiancee than luxury. I ended up quitting my best paying job ($600/week) because it required 50 hours a week and left me wiped out (it was a very physical job). I also ended up quitting a job where my fiancee and I both worked together and we were paid quite well because it was even more physically demanding, so much so that we'd work from 6am-4pm and we'd often go to sleep by 7 because we were so exhausted.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

My family is easily more important than a luxurious life. I am very comfortable with my life and grateful for it, but nothing would be more important to me than my family.

Family are so important, because nobody is going to face life without any trials/low points. It's so good to know you have a group who will always support you, whether that be family or close friends.
"Every reader is, while he is reading, the reader of his own self. The writer's work is merely a kind of optical instrument which he offers to the reader to enable him to discern what...he would perhaps never have perceived in himself."

Obviously, family is more important. If your are willing to trade family for luxury, then it means growing up, you were not taught some of the core values that stick with you still you die.

A happy family is a luxury. Your family will always be there for you no matter what you go through in life while luxurious things can be gone in a snap.

I agree n Family is most important
