I read a review of yours today and it's on Politics and USA and all, and I definitely agree with you.? We sure do have opposite interests. But at least, you love cooking. I should pay you a visit (with my big spoon) sometime.???juliusotinyo wrote:I can't stand romance novels, we are very different. Nice review though.

Politics ain't my favorite either. I'd say history, self help or instructional, wellness, new age philosophy...That kind of thing. Romance is not bad, just better if at least both perspectives of the action. I mean, a female author's perspective is on the male and vice versa. There's those writers who can meld both nicely, like Linnea Tanner. I really hope I am making sense to you here?I read a review of yours today and it's on Politics and USA and all, and I definitely agree with you.? We sure do have opposite interests. You are welcome. I actually run a grill in my pub every weekend. You don't need spoons, most people here eat by hand.

You're totally making sense. I understand. You like it when power is exerted. There should be some level of strength, especially in the female character and not just some submissive love story. I get it and that's extremely beautiful too.juliusotinyo wrote:Politics ain't my favorite either. I'd say history, self help or instructional, wellness, new age philosophy...That kind of thing. I can't deal with history. I run away from it. Unless there are other interesting elements attached to it. Like this book.
For the invite, thanks a lot.

History represents who we were. I became intoxicated with it from an early age. My dad gave me an old book written by his dad about his experience with the (then) new religion of Christianity and his conscription in WWII helping the British in South Asia. I loved it, then suddenly became interested with my past. I wonder what my ancestor did or how he lived in say, 104 AD?I can't deal with history. I run away from it. Unless there are other interesting elements attached to it. Like this book.

104 AD? That's too much for me to handle.? But I admire your enthusiasm. I'm actually inspired.juliusotinyo wrote:History represents who we were. I became intoxicated with it from an early age. Yes, it was a good read. I'll drop by too.Gregory Chileshe wrote:okay, this a great review. It is even more comforting to see how you bring characters we may not have even know they were there. Maybe I may also love to read it. Check my review too and see how it fits in.
