I like how there is a bit of a dark twist in the love that Miles and Adelia have...wonder what that is? It's great that everyone's backstory is interesting and holds your interest. Though erotic scenes aren't for me, and that line you provided about being ridden, I just can't deal with. I'm glad that you enjoyed the read and that the author kept you invested to the end. Nice review of an interesting book. I usually try to stay away from rape scenes, so I'm not sure whether I will pick it up, but I have to admit, the plot does sound interesting.
